Restaurant AncoraA pizzeria, a pub and a restaurant all in one place and yet again restaurant Ancora is situated in the heart of Maribor. You can find it in the shopping area of the Jurciceva Street. It has replaced a very well known restaurant Novi Svet a few years ago. Restaurant Ancora is among those eateries in the city center that we regularly visit during our holidays in Maribor. I particularly like the variety of food which they offer for every taste. A number of different kinds of pizza, sea food, salads, spaghetti, lasagnas, gnocchi, pancakes, baklava and so on are enough not to stay hungry. We usually invite my parents in law with us because Milan's father really likes the sea food, my mother in law loves lasagnas and we usually order fish or pizza (Marusa's favorite). So far everything we had was totally delicious so, to be honest, we don't really bother too much when selecting from the menu.

My husband enjoys teasing me when I order a salad which is always far too big for me.
The restaurant has actually made its name with sea food.
Though their lasagnas are absolutely delicious too.
What about prices?
